We are a non-profit, educational center with herbal gardens and sacred land in King County, east of Seattle across Lake Washington, founded by Paul Beyerl and his partner, gerry Beyerl. We offer on-site classes, workshops with access to an acre of gardens and woodland containing many species of herbs, fruit and flower; memorials of trees, plantings and bells for those who have passed over; a Stone Circle for meditation and solitude; and facilities for student research. The School of Healing encompasses courses, workshops and educational programs offered at The Hermit's Grove. With students throughout North America and a strong following of Beyerls' books, we wish to serve our numerous and diverse students. The Hermit's Grove is an educational division of The Rowan Tree Church, housing the Church's library, offices for the administrative, educational and publishing programs; and caretaking the acre of land which belongs to The Rowan Tree Church Membership in The Hermit's Grove includes a subscription to both The Hermit's Lantern & Transit Authority; a 20% discount on Coursenotes, reduced prices on books, tapes and services, discounts on all workshops & courses held at The Hermit's Grove (including those for out-of-state guests), discounts and free stock from the gardens, two hours or more of private tutoring per year and other services found throughout this catalog. Enrollment in any School of Healing courses includes free issues of The Hermit's Lantern; a 20% discount on Coursenotes, reduced prices on books, tapes and services listed in this catalog. Annual savings can be significant. Annual membership includes both The Hermit's
Lantern and The Transit Authority.
